Becoming a broker.
Increasing your personal income is one way to increase your profitability. A common method for increasing income is through the pursuit of a higher education. It is generally understood that higher education leads to higher income. This is also true in the real estate industry. We believe that completing the Professional Real Estate Brokerage Course is a profitable strategy for most real estate professionals.

"It was easy. Broker Direct assisted me with the completion of my courses. With the 18 credit carryover from RECO, I obtained most of the MCE credit requirements that I needed for a four year period. I would highly recommend any sales representative complete the Professional Real Estate Brokerage Course regardless of which company they are associated with."

You receive an MCE 18 credit carryover from RECO.
RECO allows registered sales representatives an 8 credit carryover during every 2 year MCE cycle. However, there is one exception to this rule - a one time 18 credit MCE carryover is offered by RECO for the completion of the Professional Real Estate Brokerage Course. This means that with careful planning you may upgrade your status from Sales Representative to Associate Broker without investing a lot of time and money. Since all real estate registrants in Ontario are required to meet continuing education requirements, it makes sense to become a broker.
It is a great marketing tool for listing presentations.
Consumers are more demanding than ever. Competition for seller and buyer listings requires that each real estate professional carry a variety of powerful marketing tools. Buying or selling real estate is often the most significant financial decision most people make and many customers place a high value on education. Explaining the benefits of your education, as well as your commitment to professionalism, can often influence a prospect to choose you, the Associate Broker, over the Sales Representative with the competition.
